Harry Brenner is a VA-accredited attorney who represents both Veterans Affairs (VA) and Social Security Disability (SSD) clients, helping them navigate the complex claims process to get the benefits they deserve. A partner at Affleck & Gordon since 2019, Harry brings a down-to-earth, approachable style to his work—focused on making sure clients feel heard, understood, and supported at every stage of their case.
Originally from Atlanta, Harry earned his degree in political science from the University of Georgia before attending the University of South Carolina School of Law. While in law school, he served as a research editor for the Real Property Trust and Estate Law Journal. He joined Affleck & Gordon in 2011 as a paralegal and became an associate after passing the bar in 2012.
Since then, Harry has represented clients in thousands of Social Security and Veterans Affairs disability hearings. He works with SSD clients through all stages of review—from initial applications to appeals—and supports veterans through every level of the VA claims process, including supplemental claims and appeals before the Board of Veterans’ Appeals. Harry takes pride in connecting the dots and building strong, detailed cases that help clients overcome roadblocks and move forward with confidence.
Harry is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the National Organization of Veterans' Advocates (NOVA). He genuinely enjoys building relationships with his clients and takes extra time to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for.
Harry lives in Atlanta with his wife, Christie, and their two children. Whether at the office or at home, he’s driven by a simple goal: to be someone his clients can rely on—because no one should have to go through the disability process alone.
