Allison Affleck is a dedicated disability attorney who focuses her practice on Social Security Disability and Veterans' Disability law, helping individuals and families access the benefits they've earned . As a second-generation attorney at Affleck & Gordon, Allison is proud to carry on the legacy of the firm her father founded. Since joining the practice in 2014, Allison has built a reputation for skilled, compassionate advocacy—especially in the areas of Social Security Disability and Veterans' Disability law.
A VA-accredited attorney, Allison is dedicated to helping veterans and their families navigate the complex VA benefits system with the respect and personal attention they deserve. She takes the time to listen, understand each client’s story, and develop a strategy tailored to their unique needs.
In 2019, Allison was named partner at Affleck & Gordon and now leads the firm alongside her law partner, Harry Brenner. Her leadership and dedication to client-centered service have earned her widespread respect among colleagues, judges, and clients alike.
Allison has been recognized as a Rising Star and was named a Super Lawyer beginning in 2023—an honor reserved for attorneys who demonstrate excellence in their practice and are highly regarded by their peers.
She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond and her law degree from Georgia State University College of Law.
Allison is an active member of the Georgia Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the National Organization of Veterans’ Advocates (NOVA). She has also served on the board of the Epilepsy Foundation of Georgia.
Outside the office, Allison enjoys life in Atlanta with her husband, Kirby, their two daughters, and their black lab pup.
