My original filing was in 2020. When I went to Affleck & Gordon, I had already been denied disability. From the very start, Allison was very nice and calming. She reassured me that she knew what needed to be done and thought that she could get me an approval. It took some time as the system moves slow, my doubt increased but Allison's didn't. For my review, she did the majority of the talking, which was a good thing for me. I don't think I would have been approved if I didn't have her on my side. Allison put in the work and I was approved in March 2023. So if you are fortunate enough to get Allison to represent you, have faith in her, she knows the system and you too can have a positive outcome. I am truly appreciative for Allison and Affleck & Gordon!

After my first disability claim denial on my own, I signed on with Affleck & Gordon for my appeal. I was assigned Jeff as my paralegal and Harry as my attorney. They are both very thorough and professional. There are so many facts and details to collect, organize, and prepare. Hiring a firm that understands the legal process as well as the frustrations of their clients is wonderful. I couldn’t be more pleased with Allison Affleck from the company. My case had a change of venue and we faced a very difficult judge who did not allow Allison to present a proper case and ended up giving me a partial ruling. I appealed and ended up back with the judge. The whole time Allison was positive in obtaining the right documentation to submit and this time she was able to cross-examine the doctor the judge had. Everything went in my favor but the judge ruled against me. We appealed again and finally, after over eight years, received a fully favorable ruling taking my benefits back to day 1. During the whole time, Allison went above and beyond for me because she said I deserved the benefits. The whole firm was very professional and helpful.
